Very recently, a consensus of experts proposed recommendations (named DECIDE-AI) for the early evaluation of decision support systems based on artificial intelligence and brings forward other published recommendations for the evaluation of artificial intelligence algorithms (TRIPOD-AI, STARD-AI, SPIRIT-AI, and CONSORT-AI) according to the algorithm’s stage of development. The aim of these recommendations is to improve the standardization of development plans for the evaluation of decision support systems.
